GENEVA, SWITZERLAND – Universal Avionics (UA) announces FAA and EASA sign-off for Authorized Dealer, Chicago Jet Group’s amendment of their AML STC to include the ATN B1 Module for the UniLink™ UL-800/801 Communications Management Unit.
Operators can now upgrade for Aeronautical Telecommunications Network Baseline 1 (ATN B1) CPDLC and Context Management functions required for the 05 February 2020 European mandate, formerly known as Link 2000+.
AML STC #ST03262CH covers the following aircraft platforms:
- Bombardier: Challenger 600, 601, 604
- Dassault Falcon®: 50/50EX, 2000/2000EX
- Gulfstream: Astra, G100, GII, GIII, G-V, G500
Transport Canada and ANAC approvals are imminent.
Chicago Jet Group is also working on STC #ST03369CH which will cover the Dassault Falcon 900/900EX, Gulfstream G-IV/G-IVSP, and Boeing 767-200. FAA and EASA approval is imminent, expected by June 1, 2018. Brazilian ANAC FANS 1/A+ approvals for the Falcon 900B, G-IV and Boeing 767 are complete.

To help operators meet the requirements for FANS 1/A+ and ATN B1, the AML STC provides choices for Rockwell Collins’ ICS-120A/220A, True North’s TN1007-100, and Latitude’s DL150 as Iridium SatCom solutions.
